Solid-waste public hearings
continue tonight, Thursday
The second of five public hearings to receive input on the county’s new plans for solid-waste disposal will be tonight in Shelbyville.
The first meeting was Tuesday night in Simpsonville, with meetings scheduled for Thursday at Finchville, Monday in Bagdad and Tuesday in Waddy.
Tonight’s gathering at the North Central Health Department on Henry Clay Street starts at 6 o’clock.
