Who we are: In Louisville and Shelbyville, we are a scrap metal recycling facility purchasing aluminum, copper, brass, and steel scrap from individuals, schools, churches, contractors and industrial accounts. The Kennesaw, Georgia location is our aluminum coil division. We offer great pricing and quick service with our drive through facilities. The customer doesn’t even have to get out of their car. They are helping the environment while putting cash in their pocket! Our goal is to offer exceptional service by collecting and removing scrap from our customers’ facilities.
What we do: Our fleet of trucks and drivers deliver industrial roll-off boxes and trailers that can be easily located to provide service to all of our customers. Our employees bring an accumulation of expertise to Midwest Metals from the experiences with primary mills, scrap dealers, and industrial companies.

Other Stuff:Midwest Metals opened its Shelbyville location on Monday, Dec. 10. The company was founded in 1985, and is headquartered in Louisville. Shelbyville is the company’s third location. Jeff Wence is president, Pat Debes is Vice President, and Larry Wence is chairman of the board. They have a combined total of 95 years experience in the recycling business.
Hours:The plant is openMonday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. They are closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. during the week.
