New business: Butterfly Bakery

-A A +A

Address: 317 Frankfort Road, Shelbyville

Who we are:  Diana Jackson-Adams, owner, originally from Louisa, has lived in Shelbyville for 9 years.  In the past, she has baked goodies for family and friends, but  now that her kids are in school, she has decided to share baked goodies with the community.

What we do: Butterfly Baker specialize in breakfast goods, fresh-baked muffins/scones for patrons on the go or those who want to sit and enjoy a hot cup of coffee.  The store also has treats to satisfy any sweet tooth, whether it be homemade gourmet cupcakes, brownies, cheesecakes or mini pies.  Butterfly Bakery offers packages for business meetings, bridal/baby showers or other entertaining events. Muffin/scone baskets and/or cupcake towers are available for call ahead.

What we say: “Butterfly Bakery takes pride and enjoys the sweeter things in life,” Jackson-Adams said. “We want you to leave with a smile on your face and a satisfied sweet tooth.  Who isn’t happy with a cupcake?  As we say here at Butterfly Bakery, ‘Let the Butter Fly.’”
