Merle Brewer, 80, of Campbellsburg, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at his home.

He was born on Oct. 13, 1931 in Carroll County to the late Ryland Pratt and Ruth Dawkins Brewer. He was preceded in death by a wife, Nancy Brent Brewer; nephew Emmett Allen Brewer; one adopted son, Darrell Justice; two brothers, Harold Vernon Brewer and Robert Allen Brewer.
