Police fitness story was absurd

I must confess I seldom read this newspaper, and the front-page article on police force fitness is one more justification as to your complete ineptness and me saving my dollars (“Police officers not held to fitness,” Dec. 7). If, in your infinite wisdom, you intend to rewrite police department policies and procedures, please know you must add Shelby County Dispatch to your task.
