By Todd Martin

The Shelby County girls' basketball team beat Scott County 63-59 Friday for the team's first win over the Lady Cardinals since 2005.

Raechele Gray led all scorers with 31 points, but it was Haleigh LeCompte's two big three pointers with less than two minutes to play in the fourth quarter that gave the Lady Rockets' the lead for good.

LeCompte finished with 15 points, and Jennica Garitty added four points and 23 rebounds to help pace Shelby County.
