The Shelby County softball team traveled to Anderson County on Monday for the fourth meeting between the two teams.
Anderson came out on top in this one 2-1 in eight innings, but SCHS head coach Kelly Cable said it doesn't mean much for the upcoming postseason tournaments.
"I doesn't take anything away from us," she said. "I think they needed this win more than we did, and hopefully it will give them a false sense of security. But really, I don't think it has much bearing on the district or regional tournaments."
