The Shelby County girls' basketball team held Oldham County to just 31 points in a 46-31 whipping of the visiting Lady Colonels Friday.
However, the Lady Rockets (15-7) had their own struggle to start. The Shelby girls scored just three points in the first quarter -- on an Allison Morris three-pointer -- and trailed 8-3. But after the second it was all Shelby County.
The Lady Rockets outscored Oldham County (12-10) 43-23 over the final three quarters to coast to the victory.
