The Kentucky Sheriffs’ boys and girls ranch marks its 36th year of reaching Kentucky’s youth this year. The 2011 camping season will run for eight weeks, serving both boys and girls through the end of July. The camp is free thanks to the dedication and support of sheriffs, members and contributors covering the well over $300 per week per child costs. Shelby County boys in attendance were (front row, from left) Christian Hull and Nathaniel Adams. Also pictured are Shelby County Sheriff Mike Armstrong, Audrey Armstrong and ranch head counselor Kelly Buck.
