January 14-15 in Lexington.

Founded in 1958 America's Junior Miss is the largest and oldest national scholarship program for high school girls.

On Jan. 15, Kentucky's Junior Miss will officially change its name to Distinguished Young Women of Kentucky as part of a national rebranding.

The winner will travel to Mobile, Ala., to participate in personal development activities and community service projects before competing for the opportunity to become the Distinguished Young Woman of America for 2011 and for a share of more than $125,000 in cash scholarships. I

Idaho's Madison Leonard, who attends Pepperdine University, is the 2010 national representative.
