Collins celebrated a near-perfect evening with a near-perfect result, outscoring Anderson County, 4-2, at home Friday evening.
Mason Jeffries’ fifth-inning home run put the Titans ahead to stay, and Nate Clifton drove in an insurance run in the sixth inning as they remained undefeated (3-0) and tied with Shelby County in the 30th District standings.
Collins and SCHS will play tonight at 7:30 to determine who will be seeded first in next week’s tournament.
