A two-mile stretch of Interstate 64 eastbound in Shelby County will be closed this morning for roadwork.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials announced just before 9 a.m. that a steel plate at the end of a bridge needs to be replaced, and that the right lane will be closed between miles 35 and 37.
They expect the work to finished and the lane to be reopened in a few hours, but could not provide a more exact timeframe.
