They all had solid showings – despite the absence of some swimmers because of the ACT testing – in the Titans’ and Rockets’ Holiday Classic at the Family Activity Center at Clear Creek Park.

“We had an incredible number of personal-best times, fifty-five to be exact!” Coach J.P. LaVertu said.

The Collins girls’ team had the best finish of the county teams, coming in fourth. The Titans boys’ squad, meanwhile, finished fifth.

The Shelby County boys took 10th and the Rockets’ girls 11th.

Elizabethtown won the 13-team girls’ meet, and South Oldham captured the 12-team boys’ meet.
