Tonight will be a homecoming for the Collins football team.
Not the Homecoming game, complete with pomp, circumstance and crowning of a queen, but it is a Homecoming, maybe one worthy of just as much fanfare.
Because of issues with the turf field, the Titans haven’t played an official home game at Titans Stadium in more than 21 months, since their 31-26 loss to Western on Nov. 19, 2010 in the Class 4A playoffs. That will change tonight when Collins (1-1) hosts 6A foe Oldham County.
