High-speed chase leads to indictment

A Shelbyville man who led Kentucky State Police on a high-speed chase earlier this year has been indicted.

A Shelby County Grand Jury has indicted Justin R. Taggart, 27, of Shelbyville, on one count each of first-degree fleeing or evading police, second-degree fleeing or evading police, receiving stolen property valued at more than $300, resisting arrest, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license, reckless driving, speeding, and being a persistent felony offender.
