Help for the Dempseys

Crystal and Daniel Dempsey, with Harley, Nathaniel and baby Daryn, were the benefactors of a fundraiser event held Saturday night at Cropper Baptist Church. Daniel Dempsey, a resident of Finchville, received a lacerated liver, several broken ribs, and two fractured vertebrae and now has developed partial kidney failure as the result of an ATV accident. While recovering, he lost his job. The family’s friends arranged for food, a silent auction and a raffle, and the band Silver Wings donated its time for the event.
