A report by Kentucky State Police released Friday said 2009 methamphetamine labs in the state are increasing at alarming rates.
But in Shelby County there does not seem to have much problem in this area, law enforcement officers said.
Maj. D. Goodwin with the Shelbyville Police said that although he couldn't answer for the sheriff's office, meth has not been a big problem in the city.
"I don't recall ever having a meth lab bust within the city limits," he said.
