Governor gets to hold a baby and a flag at presentation at police station
Gov. Steve Beshear visited Shelbyville Friday and received a flag – and a video call – from SPD Officer Bruce Gentry, along with Gentry’s wife and child.
A small ceremony Friday at the Shelbyville Police Station to present an American flag to the governor turned out to be a much more emotional event than anyone had planned.
