The Shelby County girls’ golf team finished fourth in Anderson County’s Joy of Golf Invitational on Saturday.
The Rockets carded a collective 331 at Wild Turkey Trace Golf Club in Lawrenceburg. Taylor County, which tied for sixth at state last year, won the tourney with a 319. Boyle County was second with a 325 and Scott County third with a 330.
“Overall we did very well,” Shelby County Coach Melissa Young said.
Sophomore Lilly Young led the way for Shelby County, finishing fifth overall with a 4-over-par 76.
