Clear Creek Elementary welcomed kindergarteners and their families for a Gingerbread-themed Math and Reading Night November 27. Each learner had the opportunity to travel through stations, which included math games that centered onquantity and reading games involving rhyming and counting syllables, according to Katey Martin, reading intervention teacher. Families also had a chance to sing a song, make a gingerbread souvenir and decorate and eat a gingerbread cookie.
