On a sunny first day of fall, the second annual Gallrein Family Fundraiser on Saturday presented all sorts of activities to raise money for Operation Care, A Loving Choice Pregnancy Center, the Shelby County Backpack Project and Open Door of Hope men’s shelter. Participants enjoyed the usual s such as the petting zoo, hay pyramid, hay rides and visits to the pumpkin patch, but they also took their shots with slingshots at their less favorite teams – or maybe a coach for one of them.
