Wanted for forging and cashing stolen checks at local businesses

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating a fugitive wanted for stealing and forging checks in Shelby and Henry counties.

Police are looking for Justin T. Robards, 25, for stealing and forging checks from a business in Eminence and cashing them in Shelby County.

Robards is described as a white male weighing about 145 pounds, and about 5 feet, 9 inches tall.

Istvan Kovacs, communications officer for the Shelbyville Police Department, said police have not located him yet because he has several different addresses on file and does not have any contact with family members. He added that he is wanted for a felony offense.

If anyone has any information about Robards, they should call Crime Stoppers.
