Home foreclosures in Shelby County continue to rise and by the end of 2010 could show another marked year-over-year increase.
Through Aug. 5 there have been 118 foreclosures – or about one every other day – with 75 of those being sold, Master Commissioner Todd Davis said.
At that rate, foreclosures for the full year would rise about 10 percent from the 161 in 2009. There were 91 sales last year.
