How do you humans help elephants? How do they harm them? Those were the questions posed by Bridget Just in her fifth-grade class at Simpsonville Elementary. The children, including Jazmin Price, were reading a non-fiction article about a baby elephant and were annotating the text for such “ah ha” information as: “They stay as families for decades.”...“There were 10,000 elephants.”... “It would be hard to find a stranded baby elephant in 17,850 square miles.”
