Evening of Gospel

An Evening of Gospel will be presented by New Covenant Church at 6 p.m. April 30. Performing will be local choirs and special guest Cindy Humphrey & the Ministers of Praise from Alexandria, La., and founded by Cindy Humphrey (sister of church pastor Joseph Humphrey). They are an energetic group of singers, musicians, directors and ministers from the Central Louisiana area. The Ministers of Praise has opened for Tyler Perry's "The Browns" and given concerts to support St. Jude's Feed the Children, and the American Cancer Society.
