Lister and Vick King of Shelbyville announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley King, to Christopher Williams, son of Jim Williams of Shelbyville and Joan Watson of Louisville.
View MapKing is a Shelby County High School graduate and attended LCC in Lexington and JCC in Louisville. She works as a medical assistant at First Choice Ankle and Foot Care.
Williams attended the University of Louisville, received his associate of arts degree from the University of Phoenix and graduated from Eastern in Louisville. He works as a specialist at Lowe’s in Louisville.
The proposal took place in the Winners Circle at Churchill Downs Thanksgiving weekend 2010. The wedding is planned for Sept. 10, 2011.
The couple will honeymoon in the Bahamas and live in Shelbyville.
