It’s not pretty in there -- big guys exploding off the line into one another. It’s not a place for the faint of heart or the timid.
But games are won and lost at the line of scrimmage.
On offense, it’s what those guys on the line do that frees up space for the quarterbacks, running back and wide receivers to get the glory. On defense, you might know some of their names if they’re defensive ends, but the most of the time it’s just another anonymous job that helps the linebackers and secondary guys get the glory.
