This may be one of Shelby County High School’s most diverse and talented senior classes, and it’s definitely the largest.
But that doesn’t mean it can keep a secret.
It was no surprise during graduation practice Wednesday afternoon when Amanda Wicker and Taylor Shaw were tabbed as Nos. 1 and 2 in the class and subsequently the valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively.
“We knew; everybody knew,” Shaw said.
