A surge of hope mixed with optimism is pulsing through Shelby County — and Kentucky — today, little more than a day after Harley-Davidson officials announced Shelby is their remaining option as a site for their largest production facility. That plant could remain in York County, Pa. — where it has been since 1976. But sometime in mid-December Kentuckians could receive an early Christmas present when Harley officials announce whether they will move or stay.
