EARLIER: Duckett case: No killer, no leads

-A A +A
By Lisa King

Almost 10 months have passed since the day Katherine Nichols discovered her brother brutally murdered.  Ten months of missing the little brother she calls her “dearest friend.” Ten months of being afraid because his killer is still on the loose, and 10 months of wondering if someone she sees on the street is the one who turned her family’s world upside down. On Nov. 9, a Sunday, Nichols said she began to worry when she didn’t hear from her younger brother, Jim, because he always called her several times a day.
