The SCHS boys’ cross-country team and three members of the girls’ squad will battle for top honors Saturday afternoon at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

Rockets’ senior Stacey Eden is gunning for his first cross-county state championship. Eden has finished in the top 10 the last two years. Eden will lead the boys’ team hoping to finish in the top 10. The boys’ Class 3A race will begin at 2:15 p.m.

On the girls’ side sophomore Caterina Karas, freshman Taylor Webb and junior Lindsey Miller qualified individually for the meet.
