Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a rash of ongoing vandalism and theft in the 800 block of Kentucky Street.

The vandalism is in the form of spray painting on buildings in that area, which is industrial.

And on Nov. 7, some hand tools, wrenches and sockets valued at about $100, were stolen from a truck at Early Environmental Service, located at 857 Kentucky Street.

Company President Allen Early said that the spray painting has been going on in that area on buildings and some equipment for the past two or three months, and on Nov. 7, it finally reached his business, when he was also robbed of the tools.

"They have been spraying graffiti down the street and have been aggressively working down the road," he said. "Then they tagged a couple of trailers from a rental company that's been renting space from me the other night, and over the weekend, they stole some tools out of one of my trucks."

Anyone with information relating to these incidents, no matter how small, is encouraged to call. Crimes are usually solved by insignificant details. You can remain anonymous and still receive a cash reward up to $1,000. Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 633-4500.
