Detectives at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office report that even with the recent decline in metal thefts that central air-conditioning units are still prime targets.
Between July 27 and July 30, the central air unit was stolen from the Waddy Ruritan Club.
The unit, located outside the building, was made by Goodman Manufacturing. It is valued at $3,600.
Anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers, which pays rewards up to $1,000.
