Simpsonville’s Robert Costello shot 3-over-par 75 in Thursday’s final round of the 94th Kentucky Open to finish in a tie for 50th in the 3-day tournament at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green.
Costello, who finished with 227 for 54 holes, equaled his score in Wednesday’s second round thanks to an even-par 36 on the front nine and a 39 on the back. Costello made bogey on the par-4 fourth, but bounced back with a birdie on the par-3 sixth. On the back side he finished with bogeys on Nos. 15, 16 and 18.
