Collins boys win opening swim meet

The Collins boys’ swim team was victorious in its season-opening meet, the Hardin County Invitational, this past Saturday in Elizabethtown.

Also in that meet, Shelby County finished in fourth place.

Meanwhile in the girls’ meet, the Titans took third and the Rockets sixth.

“It just goes to show you that when we work as a team, not individuals, we can accomplish great things,” Coach J.P. LaVertu said.
