Collins’s boys 2nd, SCHS 8th in CKBC golf tournament

The Collins boys’ golf team finished second Saturday in the Central Kentucky Bluegrass Conference Tournament at Tates Creek Golf Course in Lexington.

Scott County carded a collective 299 to take home the team trophy. The Titans were 11 shots back. Shelby County finished eighth out of the 16 teams with 330.

Collins senior Brandon Sanner with 73 finished in a tie for fifth to earn all-conference honors.

Also for the Titans, senior Michael Atkins shot 75, senior Michael Troutman 79 and seniors Chandler White and Matthew Feltner added 83 apiece.
