City council member Mike Miller said he and Marshall Long talk a lot about changes they'd like to see to the landscaping ordinance over coffee in the mornings.
Both men told Ryan Libke, executive director of the Triple S Planning and Zoning Commission, that they believe the ordinance adopted just over a year ago is too restrictive.
"It doesn't make a lot of sense to put two rows of trees between them (adjoining businesses)," Long said.
