The church also continues to collect expired/unwanted coupons for the military, used hearing-aid batteries and round plastic tops from mayo jars, soda bottles, shampoo, etc. for a Painted Stone Elementary art project. The Backpack Project is in need of the following items: Vienna sausages, soup and canned pastas with pop tops; Pop Tarts and cereal bowls, fruit cups, peanut butter crackers, individual packages of chips, rice-crispy treats, puddings.
