On Dec. 8, during the 11 a.m. worship service, the Haiti Mission Team will share their experiences in ministering to the Christian Church of Chemette with Pastor Le Jean and Nurse Jenny in Haiti. The church continues to collect expired/unwanted coupons for the military, used hearing-aid batteries and round plastic tops from mayo jars, soda bottles, shampoo, etc. for an art project at Painted Stone Elementary. The Backpack Project is in need of the following items: Vienna sausages, soup and canned pastas with pop tops; Pop Tarts and cereal bowls, fruit cups, peanut butter crackers, individual packages of chips, rice-crispy treats, puddings.
