Centenary United Methodist
The Mission Team has placed boxes to collect new and used shoes for "Edge Outreach Shoes for Water Campaign." This project will assist in providing clean drinking water for Third World countries. The Harriet Poynter/Lucile Smith Circle will host a pampered chef fund-raising event at 7 p.m. Tuesday to help in the whip-cancer event for May. Every $1 from the sale of each item will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Special pink items will be available and a door prize will be given to a lucky lady attending. Any high school senior of Centenary wanting to be considered for the scholarship program should submit his or her application and essay to the church by May 13. The United Methodist Men's meeting will be on May 14.

The inquirer's class meets at 10 a.m. Sunday and May 13 in Rev. Dave Charlton's office for anyone interested in learning more about the congregation and the Disciples of Christ.
