The church is a collection site for Edge Outreach Shoes for Water. Donations of new and used shoes create clean drinking water for people in need. Shoes of all types are acceptable – from flip-flops to high heels, from boots to football cleats. FCC also is collecting used hearing-aid batteries, box tops, Campbell’s labels, eyeglasses, plastic bags from Kroger, Walmart, etc., coupons either current or expired, canceled postage stamps, pop tops from aluminum cans and current magazines for mission projects. The Adult Children of Alcoholics Group meets at 6 p.m. Friday.
