Beechridge Baptist
Vacation Bible school will be 6-8:30 p.m. June 10-15. The theme will be “The Fruit of the Spirit” for children 4-to-12-years-old.

Bethel A.M.E.
Church service starts at 11 a.m. The church is located at 414 Henry Clay Street.

Bethesda Church of God
Crosswalk, a singing group, will be guest at 6 p.m. Sunday. The group is from the North Benson Baptist Church in Frankfort. The church is located at 2246 Taylorsville Road.

Centenary United Methodist
Children's ministry meeting will be 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. CYF will have a day hiking event at Natural Bridge on Tuesday. Meet at the church at 7:30 a.m. and return at 7:30 p.m. You are asked to bring items necessary for hiking and money for dinner. The Harriet Poynter/Lucile Smith Circle will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the fellowship hall. Donations of non-perishable food items, especially pull-tab items, are needed for the pantry. Quilters meet at 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Wednesday. Children's Ministry will enjoy a craft fun night 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Children ages preschool through fifth grade are invited to join in the activity. The youth will participate in an Ultimate Slip and Slide event at 6-9 p.m. Wednesday. They will need to meet at the church. The youth is invited to join in the not-so-drive-in movie 8:30-10:30 p.m. Friday at the youth director's home. Local Missions Team meets 7 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Kids Korner will be at 10 a.m.-noon on June 16. VBS has been scheduled for July 8-12. Information will be available as the program nears.

Vacation Bible school (“Amazing Wonders Aviation”) will be at 6-8:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday for ages 3 years to 12th grade. Family night will be June 15. Fathers Day is June 17. William Matthews will have a book signing June 24 for his book Shelby County Kentucky 2011 – a Living History. June 27 will be the fellowship meal. Sunday services begin with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m., worship service at 11 a.m. and evening services at 6. Cropper Baptist
“Amazing Wonders” is this year’s theme for Vacation Bible School from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday. Family night commencement will be held Thursday. Contact Carrie B. Trotta to volunteer in this children’s ministry. SCHS graduates will be recognized during a special morning service on Sunday.  Students will go to Holiday World on June 16; contact Pastor Joey for more details. Students are raising money for summer mission camp in July. Contact Pastor Joey if you are willing to sponsor one or more of the students at a cost of $150. Contact David Martin no later than Sunday morning to reserve tickets for Derby Dinner Theater on Sept. 22. Tickets are $41 each to see Church Basement Ladies 2. The church is a registered Red Cross emergency relief shelter and is open to the community in times of need.

Dover Baptist
The church is still looking for a van for its youth ministry. Wednesday night service begins at 7 for youth and adults. Saturday morning Bible study for men begins at 7, and on Sunday morning, Sunday school is at 9:50 with worship at 11. Bible school is July 8-12. Father's Love
The Church for Kids will have a fundraiser lunch on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $7, and you may eat in, carry out, or possibly have delivery. Finchville Baptist
Vacation Bible school for children ages 3 years through fifth grade is at 5-8 p.m. Sunday and 6-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday. “Motor Men of the Cross" will sponsor a car-motorcycle show on the front grounds at 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Old and new cars will be displayed throughout the area. Presenters include members of the Mustang Derby Club, Midland Tire, Bob Hook Chevrolet of Shelbyville, McGuire Ford, Shelbyville Chrysler, Chris Perry's Auto Sales, Wood's Car Wash, Charles Derringer and many others. Some autos/cycles will be for sale, as posted. Wayne Anderson and Mike Stallings will provide auto check-ups from 10 a.m. until noon (fluids, tire pressures, etc.; no on-site repairs). Boy Scout troop 231 will grill hot dogs and brats and offer cold drinks as a fundraiser. Acts 1:8 Mission, led by Jeff Finley, will also assist. First Presbyterian
The outreach committee meets at 9 a.m. Sunday. Tyler's Book Traders will trade books following worship in the fellowship hall. Good Grief will gather for lunch at 12:15 p.m. Sunday at Wendy's Restaurant. This Sunday is Love Sunday. Donations of non-perishable food items, old towels, food for the backpack program and bedding, as well as monetary donations, will be collected. The children's and youth Sunday school program will take a break through August. Honor the special men in your life through a donation to your favorite cause. Look for the designated table in the Assembly Room the next two Sundays. Boy Scouts meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Adult choir rehearsal is at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday. Have desserts to the church by 10 a.m. Volunteers should arrive at Victory Baptist by 10:30 a.m. The "Changing the World Two by Two" campaign runs all of 2012. Greater Shiloh Temple C.O.G.O.A.

Highland Baptist
"Amazing Wonders" Vacation Bible school will be at 6:30-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday for ages 3 years old through sixth grade. The Lord's Supper will be observed this Sunday. The Prayer Shawl Ministry is hosting a baby shower for the Florence Crittenden Home through June 24. Items needed are bottles, formula, diapers, wipes and clothing. Living Waters Church
Donations are being collected for the Baby Bottle Blessings and need to be turned in by June 17. This year’s donations will go to Avenues for Women in Frankfort. Remodeling of the new Oasis Ministry room has begun. If you are interested in painting, construction, plumbing or chair re-upholstery, sign up at the information counter. The H2O Youth Group will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday at 6:30pm.
