One of our main projects in Guatemala this summer will be the distribution of clothing and flip flops to villagers. Help by bringing gently, used or new summer clothing and flip-flops in all sizes. Remember to bring smaller adult sizes. We also need individually wrapped, non-chocolate candy and gum to hand out as we minister. Financial donations for the pizza/movie nights for the senior assisted living house and orphanage are also welcome. The team will be gone June 22-29. The church is a collection site for Edge Outreach Shoes for Water. Donations of new and used shoes create clean drinking water for people in need. Shoes of all types are acceptable – from flip-flops to high heels, from boots to football cleats. FCC also is collecting used hearing-aid batteries, box tops, Campbell’s labels, eyeglasses, plastic bags from Kroger, Walmart, etc., coupons either current or expired, canceled postage stamps, pop tops from aluminum cans and current magazines for mission projects.
