The Sunday worship messages delivered by the pastor from the “Breaking Free” series have been very spiritually encouraging. Sunday's message will be "From the Power of Fear," from Genesis 50: 15-21. The Safe Sanctuary Class will be 5 p.m. Sunday. Congregation members interested in assisting with youth, children and older adults must take this class. When inclement weather during the school week occurs and closes Shelby County schools, all church activities at FBC also are canceled.

FCC also is collecting used hearing-aid batteries, box tops, Campbell’s labels, eyeglasses, plastic bags (Kroger, Walmart, etc.), coupons (current or expired), canceled postage stamps, pop tops from aluminum cans and current magazines for mission projects.
