The church will supply dinner for the Open Door of Hope Men's Shelter at 7 p.m. Feb. 23. The Senior High Youth will enjoy a ski trip this weekend leaving Friday and returning Saturday afternoon. Kids Korner will be 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The first Sunday of Lent message will be "The First Field Trip," delivered by the pastor at both worship services. Following each service, there will be a Greeter Ministry Training session. Finchville Baptist

Youth bowling night will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 23. The cost will be $13, plus fast food afterwards. The Redeemer tour “Big Daddy Weavewill be at 6:30 p.m. March 9 at Cornerstone Christian Academy. Meet at the church at 5 p.m. Make the $10 reservation by March 3 with Davey. A fish fry and silent auction will be March 23 as a fundraiser for the Guatemala Mission team. Silent auction donations from local area businesses, artists and offices are being accepted. The team will accept donations for cakes and pies to be auctioned. Ticket sales for the fish fry will be available Sunday after church. The missions and Guatemala teams would like to have your treasures as you begin your spring cleaning. A yard sale will be held in April, so as you begin going through your closets and garages, remember to bring your items to the church, where they will be stored until the sale. The collection will continue until April 19. All youth in grades 6-12 are invited to youth group on Sunday afternoons from 5 to 7 p.m. The Alzheimers Caregivers Support Group meets at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Donations of new, and used shoes to Edge Outreach create clean drinking water for people in need. Shoes of all types are acceptable – from flip-flops to high heels, from boots to football cleats. FCC is also collecting used hearing aid batteries, coupons – current or expired, cancelled postage stamps, pop tops from aluminum cans and current magazines for mission projects.
