The church is a collection site for WaterStep. Donations of new and used shoes create clean drinking water for people in need. Shoes of all types are acceptable – from flip-flops to high heels, from boots to football cleats. FCC also is collecting used hearing-aid batteries, box tops, Campbell’s labels, eyeglasses, plastic bags from Kroger, Walmart, etc., coupons either current or expired, canceled postage stamps, pop tops from aluminum cans for mission projects. Kroger gift cards may be purchased from the church. Each time a card is purchased or reloaded, the church earns 4 percent. The cards make excellent gifts.
