Centenary United Methodist

IMPACT SHELBY, a group of Shelby County Methodist churches, will gather at 8 a.m. on Saturday to participate in community work projects. Seven different teams will work on projects like ramps, yards, nursing home visits and notes. A prayer team is scheduled every hour with specific prayer requests. No children’s moment or worship will be available on Easter Sunday. Church council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Wednesday, the Quilters will meet at the church from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday. A lunch will be needed for the whole session. Wednesday programming will begin at 6:30 p.m. but there will be no fellowship dinner. The team preparing for the meal at God's Kitchen will meet at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday. Women from around the world will gather on April-25-27 for the Kentucky 19th quadrennial Assembly at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville.
