Annunciation

A fish fry is 4:30-7:30 p.m. today and April 15. Good food at a good price. All proceeds will go to scholarships and the building fund. Homebound or hospitalized? Centenary Methodist

The Outreach Ramp Team meets start on a ramp beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

 

Christiansburg Baptist

On April 17 the church will celebrate the pastor’s 18th anniversary. Guest will be Elder William D. Beasley and his congregation from New Beginning Pentecostal Church at the 11 a.m. service.
 

Clay Street Baptist

A spring break lock-in is 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday at the Marnel C. Moorman Family Life Center, 1940 Midland Trail. The cost is $12 and the event is for ages 6-16. Events include corn hole tournament, games, fun, talent, contests, bouncer. Call 633-5939 for more information. Missionary Society Anniversary is Sunday at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be minister Woodson Parker of Louisville. Spiritual Women's Ministry will be 7 p.m. April 22. Guest speaker will by Demetrius Simmons.

 

Clay Village Baptist

The fifth Sunday evening services will be May 29 with Blend as the entertainment.

 

Cropper Baptist

The deacons will meet at 4 p.m. Sunday. Choir practice is at 5 and the regular business meeting at 6. A youth event is scheduled for Friday. Contact Shannon Osten for more details. Members are asked to return their completed surveys as soon as possible by delivering to Tammy Shaw or by mailing to the church. A volunteer sign-up sheet is available at the church for those wishing to help with the Touched Twice Clinic scheduled for April 16. Cub and Girl Scouts meet every Monday at 6 p.m.

 

Father’s Love

Father’s Love, an urban ministry of Living Waters Church, is having a fundraiser lunch and dinner on Thursday. The cost of a meal is $6 for lunch and $7 for dinner, and you may either eat in or carry out. Lunch is served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and dinner is served from 4-7 p.m.  Place your order by Wednesday by calling 502-633-0734 or 502-682-1018, or by sending E-mail to marti.brown@living-waters.org.  Father’s Love is located at 624 Henry Clay Street.
 

Finchville Baptist

First Baptist Shelbyville

Touched Twice Ministry is April 16. Senior Pastor Steve Rice is leading a Holy Land trip Nov. 10-19.

 

First Christian

Two worship services are offered each Sunday. The early worship service is at 9 a.m. in the chapel and the second service is at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary. Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. and there are classes for all ages. FCC will prepare the meal for the Open Door of Hope on April 16. All ladies attending the spring conference should meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. on April 16.  Youth groups will resume April 17. The next Wednesday night dinner is 6 p.m. April 20. The Recycled Teenagers will be going to Whistle Stop in Glendale on April 20. The bus will leave at 10:15 a.m. Call the church office at 633-3345 to make your reservation.

 

First Presbyterian

Congregational Care is creating a list of people who have or are going to graduate this year; high school, college, basic training, etc. Leave names with the church office (633-2693) or speak to Janet Kalmey.

 

Greater Tabernacle Baptist

GTBC meets each Sunday morning at the Kentucky Utilities Auditorium at 1100 Main Street Shelbyville. Rev. Leslie J. Harris is the pastor. Sunday school is at 9:30 and morning worship at 11:30.

 

Highland Baptist

AARP free tax help is offered Mondays and Thursdays during April. For more information call Marvin Rogers 633-3665. The adult choir will present As Sure As My Redeemer Lives, So Shall I, at 10:30 a.m. May 1.

 

Open Door Christian Center

Woman's Missionary Union meets the third Tuesday of every month. Call the church and leave a message for further information 829-5858. A chili supper to raise funds for the Evangel Prison ministry will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday.  Gospel singing will be included. The church will host international evangelist Lindsey Mann for three services beginning Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.; and 7 p.m. Monday.

Shelby Congregational Methodist

Simpsonville Christian
