Charles Edward Long

SHELBYVILLE –Charles Edward Long, 88, died Saturday, 28 January 2012, at his residence near Cropper.  Born in Henry County, Kentucky, to the late Herman Clarence and Ethel Jones Long, he was a retired dairy farmer.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and his memberships also formerly included the Cropper Ruritan Club and the Coon Hunters Club.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding four-wheelers and playing ball.
