Cemetery's past concerns neighbors

Jim Ellis and his neighbors are concerned about information they turned up in a 20-year-old lawsuit that accused operators of the Louisville Cemetery Association Inc.'s Poplar Level Road cemetery of knowingly desecrating at least 200 graves.

The association was given a conditional-use permit by the Triple S Board of Adjustments and Appeals last month for 40-acres off Eminence Pike despite neighbors objections. Louisville Cemetery plans to build a cemetery complete with mausoleums on the property.
